The 2019 IC37 sailing season kicked off this past weekend at the IC37 Training Weekend held in Newport, Rhode Island with class-sponsored North Sails coaching. The inaugural year of Melges IC37 Class racing will feature one-design competition at six regattas in Newport followed by a winter series in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The New York Yacht Club’s fleet of 20 boats is rigged and now sailing. Now that the initial fleet has been delivered, the builders are now working to construct the privately-owned boats. Get ready to experience the Joy of the Melges IC37 Class all around the world. “Everything about the organization, the boat and the people was great fun. You have created something special,” said new boat owner Alexis Michas.
